/Broadway Stages is proud to support NOoSPHERE Arts’ performance series WE ARE NATURE (WAN) that runs throughout the summer. On July 23, we look forward to enjoying visual arts, dance, and music as WAN 3: Wildflower Festival is presented at the 6th Annual Kingsland Wildflower Festival!
On July 23, NOoSPHERE Arts continue the WE ARE NATURE 2022 (WAN) series at the 6th Annual Kingsland Wildflowers Festival where displays and performances by some of the city’s great artists will be featured. By combining arts, environmental activism, and community building, WAN aims to inspire a sense of agency and hope. The event will engage the audience with art exhibitions, performers, and wise words from scientist, activist, and best-selling author Dr. Fritjof Capra. Secure your spot by clicking here.
The rooftop spaces will be adorned with art capturing the event’s spirit. Prints by Kingsland Editions, a Greenpoint fine art screen print and publishing studio, and paintings from Sol Kjøk’s studio, Last Frontier NYC, will be on display. In the Upper Meadow, the site-specific installation, The Battle of Creation, will remain on view throughout the WAN season. The work is the creation of artist Sabrina Barrios, the inaugural winner of Broadway Stages’ Residency Award @ Kingsland Wildflowers.
