Kingsland Wildflowers Listed Among 14 Must See Gardens in the World
/Kingsland Wildflowers @ Broadway Stages has become an iconic green garden rooftop for conservationists and nature lovers in Greenpoint, and across NYC. We are proud to report that our rooftop garden recently reached global recognition. Architectural Digest PRO (AD PRO) has included it in their list of 14 gardens every design lover must see in person!
AD PRO tapped experts to name the most inspiring gardens around the world that have influenced their work. In the AD PRO Designer Takes segment, Emma Reynolds explores legendary gardens and estates from all over the world, each with a strong focus on their place of origin. In addition to Kingsland Wildflowers, listed among the 14 is NYC’s Central Park, and the Noguchi Museum in Long Island City. So, you don’t have to go far to visit some of these amazing gardens.
For those who have not yet visited Kingsland Wildflowers, we encourage you to take a look at the events calendar and plan a trip. And be sure to join us for the 6th Annual Kingsland Wildflowers Festival on July 23. Consider volunteering and/or bringing the family for a fun-filled escape with performances, food and more! Reserve your tickets or sign up to volunteer here.
We are humbled and proud to stand among garden giants like the Kensington Gardens in London, and the Tofokuji Temple of Kyoto, Japan. We thank our village that created and continue to maintain Kingsland Wildflowers — visionary garden rooftop designer and founder of Alive Structures, Marni Majorelle, our friends at NYC Audubon, our educational stewards, Newtown Creek Alliance, and arts partner, NOoSPHERE Arts. We are greatful for all you do to bring a slice of heaven to our community and the world.
