TCAH Exceeds GivingTuesday Fundraising Goal

Congratulations to TCAH for their successful GivingTuesday fundraiser. They more than doubled their goal of $60,000, having received donations totaling more than $120,000 through their #BrooklynGives campaign.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. GivingTuesday was born and incubated at the 92nd Street Y and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. GivingTuesday is now an independent nonprofit and a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Nonprofits use GivingTuesday to plan specific and timely campaigns that make it easier for you to donate in the way you choose.

The donations received on GivingTuesday and throughout the year help to make a powerful impact on the communities TCAH serves.  Since the pandemic, TCAH has served over 2 million New Yorkers through expanding healthy food access, workforce programs, urban farming, and community nutrition education. Join us in supporting TCAH – because no one should go hungry, and everyone has a right to access nutritious food not just during the holidays, but all year long.
