Eradicating the Plague of Racism TODAY!

As a community, city and nation, we have come together to fight the invisible plague of COVID-19, having put forth heroic efforts and urgency toward healing the sick and seeking a cure. Unlike COVID-19, the plague of racism is visible, the effects are tragic and challenge the very essence of our American philosophy, but unlike COVID-19, we have the power to cure this plague TODAY!

Our response to injustice, inequality and racism must be united, it must peacefully yet decidedly disrupt the current norm and generate true, systematic and lasting change. Our efforts must be rigorous, and our vision optimistic. The way forward is through unwavering change, through acceptance, love, appreciation and celebration of diversity and humanity.

Among the greatest things about our city, indeed our country is the ethnic and cultural diversity – a vibrant mix of world influences that has made America what it is today. Whether we have come here willingly or unwillingly, America is our home and we built it TOGETHER; we are all entitled to liberty and justice.

At Broadway Stages we celebrate the distinguishing characteristics that make us all unique. We value diversity and promote inclusion of experiences, talents and culture. We stand united to fight racism. We stand united to be among the voices for true and lasting change. Together we will work to promote equality and end racism.
