Hispanic Heritage Month | September 15 – October 15
/September 15 - October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month. Join Broadway Stages in honoring the values, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans during this observance that begins with the September 15 anniversary of independence for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, followed by more independence and national celebrations across Latin America.
According to The National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers (NCHEPM), the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month theme is "Todos Somos, Somos Uno – We Are All, We Are One;” “[their] members, Federal agency partners, Employee Resource Groups and members of the general public selected the [2023] theme through a substantive voting process.” This year’s poster was submitted by Mr. Boris A. Jiron, a management and program analyst in the Office of the Commissioner at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and a board member of the FDA-HOLA employee organization, who says, “This art submission for the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month poster represents the unity and integration of Hispanic culture embracing each other as one.” Read more about the poster in the NCHEPM press release here.
