Season Finales Coming Soon for Your Favorite Shows

It's that time of year. The sun is setting later, and your favorite television shows are wrapping up their latest seasons. Learn about the finale of your favorite shows that are  fillmed at our facilities.

CBS police procedural "East New York" will finish its first season on Sunday, May 14 with the episode "Ruskin Roulette." The network has not announced whether the series will return, but this season it topped the ratings among new shows in the 18-49 viewer age range, according to Nielsen returns. "East New York" stars Amanda Warren ("The Leftovers") as Regina Haywood, the recently promoted commanding officer of New York's 74th Precinct. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives in serving and protecting a poverty-stricken Brooklyn neighborhood that is experiencing social upheaval as it enters the early stages of gentrification.

A few days later, "Law & Order" will finish up its 22nd season on NBC on Thursday, May 18. The police procedural that launched multiple spin-offs returned to the air in 2021 after a decade-long hiatus. In the finale "Open Wounds," District Attorney Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) will oppose his own daughter, Rebecca McCoy (Jamie Schofield), in the courtroom.

Sticking to the "Law & Order" universe, the finale of the third season of "Organized Crime" will include the return of a fan favorite who left "SVU" six months ago. Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) will appear alongside Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as part of a crossover event on May 18. In December's mid-season finale of "SVU", Rollins retired from the force following her wedding to former detective and current Assistant District Attorney Dominick "Sonny" Carisi Jr.

As we recently reported, CBS has renewed "Blue Bloods" for a 14th season. The long-running police drama that centers on the law-abiding Reagan family will conclude its 13th season on Friday, May 19 with the episode "Forgive Us Our Trespasses." In exciting news, original cast member Jennifer Esposito will return as NYPD detective Jackie Curatola, who was Danny Reagan's (Donnie Wahlberg) partner in the first three seasons. In a photo released by CBS, Esposito can be seen wearing a jacket that reads "Chief of Police," suggesting that her character has risen through the ranks of the department over the past decade. Be sure to tune in, as other popular former guest stars will also be making appearances in the season finale.

CBS's "The Equalizer" is about to finish up its third season on Sunday, May 21, with the episode "Eye for an Eye." This season Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah) survived a kidnapping and got back to her important work as a vigilante tracking down criminals. The show is based on the 1980s CBS series of the same name, which also spurred a film franchise starring Denzel Washington in 2014. A second film followed in 2018, and a third and final is scheduled for release on September 1. As for the series reboot, a fourth season is in the works but could be delayed due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike.

A few days later, on Tuesday, May 23 "FBI" and its spin-offs will air their season finales. "FBI" will finish up its fifth season with its 100th episode called "God Complex," while "Most Wanted" will wrap up its fourth season with the episode "Heaven Falling." Both shows have been renewed for future seasons.

We are so proud of all of these shows that call Broadway Stages home and can't wait to see what is in store next season.
