New York Women in Film & Television Muse Awards Returns In-Person

New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) has honored brilliant and hardworking women at its glamorous Muse Awards luncheon each year for more than four decades. The pandemic forced the annual fundraising event to go virtual the last two years, but in less than two weeks the ceremony will return in-person as part of NYWIFT's celebration of Women's History Month.

The 43rd Annual NYWIFT Muse Awards will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at Cipriani 42nd Street. Hundreds of leading executives from major studios, networks, and film production facilities are expected to attend as NYWIFT honors nine remarkable women from the film and television industries.

This year's honorees include IFC Films President Arianna Bocco; actress Danielle Brooks; director, writer, and executive producer Deborah Chow; journalist Maria Hinojosa; home life expert Sandra Lee; actress Freida Pinto; actress Lauren Ridloff; actress Sharon Stone; and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Janet Yang.

NYWIFT dates back to 1977, when a group of women in New York created a networking and education forum for women in the entertainment industry. Three years later, the group held the first Muse Awards luncheon to honor "The New Yorker" film critic Pauline Kael. The organization would go on to honor dozens of legendary women in the film and television industries.

Congratulations to this year's honorees and thank you to NYWIFT for bringing this gala event back in-person so we can gather as a community and celebrate together!. As proud members of NYWIFT, we hope you will join us in honoring these amazing women and supporing NYWIFT programs. Tickets can be purchased here at a cost of $499 for non-members ($249 for NYWIFT members).
