"The Equalizer" Returning to CBS to Even the Score

On Sunday night, Queen Latifah will return as former CIA operative Robyn McCall in season three of "The Equalizer," and she will be joined by a few new faces.

Donal Logue ("Gotham") will portray highly decorated CIA agent Colton Fisk, while Gloria Reuben ("ER") will play the recently widowed Trish who seeks to reunite with an old flame – McCall's Aunt Vi (Lorraine Toussaint). In behind-the-scenes news, original showrunners Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller will step aside this season as Joseph C. Wilson ("NCIS: Los Angeles") and Adam Glass ("Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders") take over.

A reboot of the 1980s crime drama of the same name, "The Equalizer" follows McCall as she helps people in dangerous situations when no one else can. Back in May, the second season ended on a cliffhanger, with McCall kidnapped in front of her aunt and teen daughter, Delilah (Laya DeLeon Hayes). CBS describes the season three premiere "Boom" with the teaser: "In the aftermath of her abduction, the walls between McCall's family and vigilante life continue to crumble as those closest to her must come together for the first time to save her."

All three seasons of "The Equalizer" have been filmed at our studios in Brooklyn, and we are thrilled with the show’s continued success. This Sunday, tune in to CBS at 8:30 p.m. ET (following the football doubleheader) to see all the cast and crew members' hard work pay off.
