We are proud of all the amazing productions being filmed at our soundstages and the part they play in elevating New York's film and television industry and our local economy. Here are updates on a few of the shows that call Broadway Stages home.

David E. Kelley's Upcoming Drama "The Missing" Adds Recurring Guest Stars

Variety reported that David E. Kelley's upcoming Peacock crime drama "The Missing" has added five new recurring guest stars: Constance Zimmer ("Big Sky"), Chris Sullivan ("This is Us"), Ben Shenkman ("Billions"), Rafael Cebrián ("Narcos"), and Danielle Davenport ("Sneaky Pete").

Based on the Dror A. Mishani novel "The Missing File," the upcoming series will star Jeff Wilbusch ("Unorthodox") as Detective Avraham Avraham, a deeply spiritual and religious man who questions his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down. Juliana Canfield ("Succession") co-stars as Janine Harris, a young NYPD detective. They are joined by Karen Robinson ("Schitt's Creek") as Captain Helen Davies and Michael Mosley ("The Sinner") as Detective Earl Malzone.

First published in Israel in 2011, "The Missing File" was previously adapted as the 2018 French film "Fleuve Noir" ("Black Tide") starring Vincent Cassel ("Ocean's Twelve"). Kelley is writing the eight-episode series and will also serve as showrunner and executive producer. Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson ("Rain Man") will co-executive produce and direct multiple episodes.

HBO's "The Gilded Age" Announces Cast Additions and Departures

Two members of New York's high society will not be returning to "The Gilded Age" next season. Jeanne Tripplehorn's ostracized widow Sylvia Chamberlain and Thomas Coquerel's charming lawyer Tom Raikes will depart the series.

Joining the critically acclaimed series in a recurring role is Laura Benanti, who recently appeared in Hulu's "Life & Beth" filmed at our facilities. She will play Susan Blane, a recently widowed Newport heiress who hires George (Morgan Spector) and Bertha (Carrie Coon) Russell's son Larry (Harry Richardson) as her architect for a major home renovation.

Also joining on a recurring basis is Robert Sean Leonard ("Dead Poets Society") as Reverend Matthew Forte, the new rector of the church attended by New York high society. Relative newcomer Nicole Brydon Bloom will recur as Caroline Stuyvesant, a young socialite who catches the eye of Oscar van Rhijn (Blake Ritson). Michael Braugher will appear as Booker T. Washington; Christopher Denham ("Billions") will recur as wealthy, uptight banker Robert McNeil; and David Furr will portray Dashiell Montgomery, the widowed nephew of Agnes van Rhijn (Christine Baranski) who relocated to New York with his daughter Frances (Matilda Lawler).

Other newcomers include Ben Lamb, who will play the Duke of Buckingham, a British noble who Bertha thinks could be a good match for her daughter Gladys (Taissa Farmiga). Dakin Matthews will recur as Mr. Winterton, a very wealthy widower who recently married a much younger woman after a very brief courtship. Lastly, Rebecca Haden will portray New York society queen Flora McNeil who believes the lie that her father deserted her and her mother.

In May, HBO shared the first on-set photos from season two on Twitter. We are excited to be a part of this impressive production, and we cannot wait to see everyone's hard work pay off when the show returns for its second season.

Crossover Coming for "Law & Order" Franchises

Broadway Stages is honored to be the studio production partner-of-choice for Dick Wolf's "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Organized Crime" drama series. We are looking forward to the fall, when the two shows and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will return with a special crossover event. Dick Wolf franchise crossovers are nothing new, but this particular grouping is a first.

In other "Law & Order" news, Anthony Anderson will not return when the original series comes back for its 22nd season on September 22. He first played Detective Kevin Bernard in 2008 and signed a one-year deal to reprise the character in last season's relaunch following a 12-year hiatus.

Joining the series will be Mehcad Brooks ("Supergirl") as a junior detective. Sam Waterston will return as District Attorney Jack McCoy, as will Hugh Dancy, Jeffrey Donovan, Oldelya Halevi, and Camryn Manheim.

In other Dick Wolf television news, Miguel Gomez is exiting "FBI: Most Wanted," another show filmed at Broadway Stages. As previously reported, all three series in the "FBI" franchise will return on Tuesday, September 20.

"Godfather of Harlem" Announces Season Three Cast Changes

When "Godfather of Harlem" returns to Epix after a lengthy hiatus, fans will see a few new names in the credits. Jason Alan Carvell ("NCIS: New Orleans") will take over the role of Malcolm X, who was previously portrayed by Nigél Thatch. Deadline has also reported that Michael Raymond-James will join season three as real-life Italian mob boss Joe Colombo. He recently played dangerous criminal Jon Kosta on "Law & Order: Organized Crime."

Forest Whitaker will return as notorious real-life crime boss Bumpy Johnson, who spent 11 years at Alcatraz then returned home in the early 1960s to find the neighborhood he once ruled controlled by the Italian mob. In season three, Bumpy will continue to battle for control of Harlem, this time butting heads with the Cuban Mafia from neighboring Spanish Harlem. This rivalry will put Bumpy, his loved ones, and his community in the crosshairs of ruthless Latin assassins and ultimately the CIA.

Ilfenesh Hadera and Antoinette Crowe-Legacy will return as Bumpy's wife and daughter, respectively. Other cast members include Vincent D'Onofrio as Vincent "The Chin" Gigante (who later became boss of the Genovese crime family), Lucy Fry as Gigante's daughter Stella, and Giancarlo Esposito as Congressman Adam Clayton Powell.
