Broadway Stages Congratulates "Blue Bloods" on its 250th Episode

The Reagan family will celebrate a milestone tonight when CBS airs the 250th episode of “Blue Bloods.” Over the course of the show’s 12-season run, the Reagans have eaten hundreds of family dinners and solved countless cases, and Broadway Stages has proudly been there for allof it. We have seen first hand, the hard work that has gone into every episode, and we are thrilled for the cast and crew to reach this monumental milestone.

“Blue Bloods” has been a staple of CBS’s Friday night programming since September 24, 2010 and consistently tops the ratings in its time slot. Amazingly, all five main cast members from the first season are still on the show: Tom Selleck (Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg (Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan), Will Estes (Jamie Reagan), and Len Cariou (Henry Reagan).

“Blue Bloods” is one of CBS’s longest-running scripted primetime series, currently tied with “Andy Griffith Show” at 249 episodes. There is no word yet on whether there will be a 13th season, but should “Blue Bloods” continue it will next pass “The Jeffersons” (253 episodes), “M*A*S*H” (256 episodes), and “Murphy Brown” (260 episodes). It has a long way to go if it wants to top the network’s longest-running show ever, “Gunsmoke,” which aired 635 episodes.

The cast filmed the 250th episode in January and celebrated with cupcakes. Check out a preview of the episode here, and tune in to CBS tonight at 10 ET for a very special family dinner. We are proud to have such a long-lasting relationship with the “Blue Bloods” family, and we hope the show continues for another 250 episodes!
