March is Women’s History Month

Join us throughout March as we observe Women’s History Month. Also, mark your calendar for International Women’s Day on Tuesday, March 8, “a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.” #BreakTheBias

As we reflect on Women’s History Month, we share our appreciation for all women and the contributions they make to each area of society, from family and community, to business, education, government, and more. We send a special shout out to some women who have made the news recently, including Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, nominated by President Biden to the Supreme Court, who, if confirmed, will be the first Black woman on the Court. We also salute women in the film and TV industry, including the cast and crew members who create productions that transport us to other worlds. We send another special shout out to all the women nominated for Oscars, notably Jane Campion, who was nominated for her second Academy Award for Best Director. Her film, “The Power of the Dog,” has received 12 Oscar nominations.

Stay tuned this month for our blog celebrating women in the film and TV industry, past and present, including the late, great Betty White. We encourage you to think about the amazing women in your family, workplace, and community, and to join us in celebrating all they do and who they are!
