Broadway Stages Gives Back

Broadway Stages has proudly served as a responsible family owned and operated local business for almost 40 years.  With operations across three boroughs, we are part of the fabric of the community. With the exception of our 69-acre campus on Status Island at the former Arthur Kill Correctional Facility, our operations are spread across neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn and Queens, bringing with them the economic growth generated by the film and television industry in which we are privileged to play a critical role.  In addition to being a local revenue generating company, we also bring a sincere passion for the communities in which we work and live. We strive to make a difference – a lasting, positive impact on the local economy, environment, and neighborhoods across the city.

It’s just what you do when it’s part of who you are. Giving back to our community is in our DNA.
— Gina Argento, President & CEO, Broadway Stages, Ltd.

Like all other industries, film and television is impacted by the ups and downs of the economy, and we certainly felt the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that brought all filming to a screeching halt! But our commitment to community doesn’t waver when faced with challenges. Throughout it all – good times and bad, we strive to remain true to who we are, true to our commitment and business philosophy

During this and every holiday season, we proudly support numerous drives, from turkeys at Thanksgiving, to coats, toys, and food for Christmas. We work with local elected officials, community organizers and other non-profit organizations to help meet the needs of our neighbors who need assistance.

Today, we say thank you to all who come together to generate fellowship and help neighborhoods across our city, whether in the form of food, clothing, social services, education, or even holiday lights to bring the simplest of joys and commemorate miracles.  Listed below are just a few of the groups that we have supported this holiday season.

Broadway Stages is grateful to be part of the amazing community that makes our city iconic.  And we look forward to another 40 years of support our community and our local economy.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to one and all!
