October is Polish-American Heritage Month

The Polish-American community has deep roots in Greenpoint. In honor of Polish-American Heritage Month, Broadway Stages salutes the culture, heritage, and values of our Polish-American neighbors and their contributions to making Greenpoint a great place to live and do business.

We are proud to support local Polish-American organizations and events, including the Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men and the 84th Annual Pulaski Day Parade that will take place on Sunday, October 3 in New York City. The parade honors Polish-born American Revolutionary War hero Brigadier General Casimir Pulaski, and this year’s theme is “Celebrating the 100th Birthday of Saint John Paul II.” The parade will be held from 12:30 to 6 p.m., starting from Fifth Avenue at 35th Street, with the Honor Guard of the New York City Police and Fire Departments leading the way up Fifth Avenue to 54th Street.
