"Blue Bloods" Returns to CBS This Week | Friday, October 1

The Reagans will return to CBS for their 12th season on Friday, October 1. The multigenerational law enforcement family includes patriarch Frank (Tom Selleck), his oldest son Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), daughter Erin (Bridget Moynahan), and youngest son Jamie (Will Estes).

Broadway Stages has been working with the cast and crew of “Blue Bloods” since the show’s inception in 2010, and we are beyond proud of its immense success and popularity. The season premiere will be the 235th episode, which is quite an achievement!

Season 11 ended in May with an explosive two-hour finale, in which Danny and Jamie tracked down and rescued undercover detective Joe Hill (Will Hochman), who was revealed to be the son of their late brother Joe and thus their nephew.

CBS released a few photos and a synopsis of the season 12 premiere titled “Hate Is Hate.” In the episode, Danny consults psychic Maggie Gibson (Callie Thorne) to solve the murder of a young boy. Frank is at odds with the mayor over how to protect the city from an uptick in crime following a high-profile shooting. Erin investigates a decades-old cold case in which the primary eyewitness to the killing was her boss, D.A. Kimberly Crawford, a young teenager at the time.

Based on the released photos, we are happy to report that the Reagans appear to be continuing the weekly family dinner that fans have grown to love. Tune in on Friday to see what the family has been up to the last few months.
