Get Ready for Earth Day | April 22

Since 1970, April 22nd has marked Earth Day, an observance that brings awareness to the importance of taking care of our environment. Broadway Stages is proud to make a positive impact on our planet all year long through our commitment to environmental sustainability that includes green initiatives that improve air quality, make our buildings more temperate, reduce storm water runoff, and broaden environmental education. Projects like Kingsland Wildflowers, Eagle Street Rooftop Farm, and the Broadway Stages Green Corridor.

There are a number of local opportunities for you to celebrate Earth Day, both virtually and in-person - just remember to mask up and stay safe! Take a look at the suggestions included below and remember that you can celebrate at home by recycling, planting a small vegetable garden or wildflowers. It all makes a difference.
