Congratulations Critics’ Choice Awards Winners!

“Nomadland,” “The Crown,” and “Ted Lasso” were the big winners at the 26th annual Critics’ Choice Awards held Sunday night, March 7 in Los Angeles.

“Nomadland” stars Frances McDormand as a widow who travels around the American West in a van after losing everything in the Great Recession. The film is the frontrunner to win Best Picture at the Oscars next month, following its wins at both the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards. Additionally, most industry insiders predict that director Chloé Zhao will become just the second woman to win the Oscar for Best Director, as she picked up another win on Sunday. She also won for Best Adapted Screenplay, and the film was awarded with Best Cinematography.
