March is Women's History Month

Throughout our nation’s history, women have played a crucial role and made significant contributions across the various areas of our lives, from family, education, and the workplace, to politics, our national culture, and more. In March, we invite you to join us in celebrating all women during Women’s History Month. And on March 8, celebrate International Women’s Day. #IWD2021 #ChooseToChallenge

As a woman-owned business, Broadway Stages is proud to support an organization that is making strides for women in the TV and film industry – New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT). This amazing organization not only advocates for equality and career development on behalf of women in the industry, but also provides resources to those struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic, through their Emergency Resource Directory. This guide includes information about financial assistance programs; business and personal resources and strategies; family and childcare resources; and ways to feed your creativity. We commend NYWIFT for providing this valuable resource during this difficult time and exemplifying the continued positive impact women in our industry are making by helping each other. There is no doubt that it will have a ripple effect on our national culture as we continue to share our creativity through TV and film.
