Epix's Dramedy "Bridge and Tunnel" Filming Season Two at BWS

We have fantastic news for fans of Epix’s dramedy “Bridge and Tunnel.” Production on its second season is officially underway at Broadway Stages. The show follows six recent college graduates from Long Island who dream of making it big in Manhattan in the early 1980s.

Actor Edward Burns, who was raised on Long Island, stars, writes, directs, and produces the half-hour show. He told the New York Daily News that the program was his attempt to recreate that time period “when New York was at its coolest” but he was too young to fully enjoy it.

Burns plays the father of Jimmy (Sam Vartholomeos), an aspiring photographer who has just landed his first big job at National Geographic. Caitlin Stasey, Gigi Zumbado, Jan Luis Castellanos, Brian Muller, and Isabella Farrell round out the cast of young adults clinging to the familiarity of their working-class hometown while chasing their dreams in the Big Apple.

The six-episode first season premiered in January of this year, and six more half-hour episodes are scheduled to hit the small screen sometime next year. We love to watch new shows succeed in finding an audience, especially those filmed in the five boroughs, and we are proud of the success of “Bridge and Tunnel.” We are also excited to expand our relationship with Epix, the network we collaborated with on the first two seasons of the gangster series “Godfather of Harlem.”
