Broadway Stages loves supporting local businesses, and one vendor that helps us provide a special touch to our operations is Irys Florist. We can always depend on Irys to provide beautiful floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including shows, events, and celebrations.

Irys Florist’s owner Monika Malinowska, a native of Poland, came to the U.S. 32 years ago, and 12 years ago she followed in her grandmother’s footsteps by opening a business in Greenpoint. Malinowska has been providing floral services to the Greenpoint community ever since.

As new families and businesses settle in the area, established businesses like Irys Florist continue to provide a strong foundation for the special family-atmosphere that exists in Greenpoint. “I’ve known Greenpoint for many, many years because my grandmother used to have a shop here as well – a lot of old businesses still thrive here which is something I really like about this area,” says Malinowska.
