Business Spotlight | Bronx Ice
/This week’s business spotlight takes us to a tasty icee treat, Bronx Ice. A relatively new arrival on the city's Italian ice scene, Bronx Ice is known as "The Original Natural Craft Italian Ice." Their product is made in small batches in a fruit warehouse in the Bronx with only natural ingredients and no high fructose corn syrup. The flavors they offer are amazing – pistachio, mango, lemon, Brooklyn blackberry, Pina pineapple, mallomars and more! Now before we get you too excited, you have to know that they are closed for the season, but they do open on nice days during the winter months, so be sure to check them out on social media.
Bronx Ice was founded by Bronx native Gene Raphael Miller. While the pandemic put a twist in his opening and marketing plans – originally planning to sell from a location across from Yankee Stadium – with a lot of hard work and creativity, he was able to open two locations, one in the Upper West Side and the other in Greenpoint at 1048 Manhattan Avenue, between Freeman and Eagle Streets. Before the full-on winter chill arrives in NYC, we are certain to get a few more nice weather days and when we do, be sure to check out Bronx Ice, and tell them that Broadway Stages sent you.
