Compassionate Release Wins at Chelsea | Filmed at Arthur Kill Prison

Congratulations to the short film Compassionate Release – The Ravages of Time for receiving the coveted Short Film Audience Award and Best Screenplay at the 2020 Chelsea Film Festival (CFF). This film’s prison scenes were shot at Broadway Stages’ affiliate location at the former Arthur Kill Correctional Facility located in Staten Island.  Broadway Stages is thrilled to have played a role in helping to make this award-winning film a reality!  Congratulations to film writer, director and NYC native, Lynn Dow for bringing this poignant and telling story to life, and cheers to all who participated in the CFF.
