Mothership NYC Monthly Salon | The Rain Forest — Piano — Dance

Last Frontier Logo.jpg

It’s a new year and the monthly Mothership NYC Salons are back, and what a way to start. The line-up at the January Salon included stories and ceremonial music from the Rainforest with the Floresta Association Founder and U.S. Head, Franziska Freitag and Warren Hellerud respectively, a piano concert by composer and pianist Margin B. Alexander from New Jersey, and Brooklyn based multi-disciplinary movement artist, Brianne Taylor.  It was an evening of education — learning about the protection and conservation efforts of the Amazon and its indigenous tribes — and beautifully composed music and dance. Take a look at our photo gallery below and please plan to join Sol Kjøk at Mothership NYC for next month’s Salon.
