4th Annual Kingsland Wildflowers Festival | September 21

The 4th annual Kingsland Wildflowers Festival will take place on Saturday, September 21 at the Kingsland Wildflowers Green Roof and Community Engagement Center located at 520 Kingsland Avenue in Greenpoint, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. We have an incredible lineup of unique organizations and artists coming together to celebrate Greenpoint as a hub of environmental sustainability and art. The event is free and open to the public but you are encouraged to register. In addition to performances and tours of the green rooftop, there will be family friendly fun activities and educational opportunities.  

We are also excited to announce that this year Broadway Stages has partnered with Greenpoint Innovations (GPI) who have lead the effort to paint a mural on our building at 520 Kingsland, in recognition of Climate Week NYC 2019 that runs from September 23 - 29. GPI has also launched a new initiative, Greenpoint Earth (GPE) that will serve as the company’s creative hub for ‘art plus purpose’ projects to raise awareness about climate change and nature based solutions.
