Shoe Drive Benefits the League Education and Treatment Center
/Broadway Stages is excited to support the League Education and Treatment Center (LETC) with their shoe drive fundraiser. From October 14 through October 31 gently used and new shoes will be collected; the LETC will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of shoes donated through the national non-profit Funds2Org that will pay LETC for the shoes. The funds raised will be used to purchase a new playground for special needs students attending the League School.
Funds2Org works with micro-entrepreneurs in helping them to create, maintain and grow small businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited. Proceeds from the sales of the shoes collected in shoe drive fundraisers are used to feed, clothe and house their families.
