ABOUT URBAN UPBOUND:  Founded in 2004 by Bishop Mitchell Taylor, Urban Upbound works to provide residents of public housing and other low-income New Yorkers with the tools and resources needed to achieve economic mobility and self sufficiency, and to break cycles of poverty.  Their five programs are integrated and work in collaboration to empower individuals with hard skills, education and access to resources to improve their economic and psychological well being.
