Broadway Stages’ Recognized during Italian American Heritage Month
/Italian-American heritage, culture and history is officially celebrated during the month of October. Over 26 million Americans of Italian descent currently reside in the U.S. — making up America’s seventh largest ethinic group. New York City has the largest population of Italian Americans in the U.S. and it’s considered the third largest Italian population outside of Italy. With these many Italian’s in our community you can be sure that celebrations are scheduled throughout the city to recognize the contributions and achievements of Italian-Americans.
Just last week Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, along with the Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Brooklyn honored a number of Brooklyn’s own Italians including our very own Tony and Gina Argento, the Founder and President/CEO of Broadway Stages, respectively. As a first generation Italian immigrant family who call New York City home, Tony and Gina have remained committed to the virtues and family values instilled in them by their parents — sacrifice, love and support for family and community. Thank you to the Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Brooklyn and Brooklyn Borough President Adams for your considerate recognition. Broadway Stages is a proud Italian family owned business — proud to be a part of Brooklyn and proud to call New York home.
