Summer has passed, and fall is upon us. But there is still a Vibrant Tapestry of sights, sounds, and experiences to be had! "A Vibrant Tapestry" has been the theme of the 2024 NOoSPHERE Arts WE ARE NATURE (WAN) annual rooftop series. With its unique presentation of dance, music, arts, and wisdom, the series reflects that we are all part of a web, of which no part is more fundamental. Taken together, we are all a beautiful work of art.

October holds the last event in the WAN series. On Saturday, October 19, the series will recognize another unique New York City affair, Open House New York (OHNY). Those in attendance will get a behind-the-scenes look at one of New York City's most unique sites. Daniela Holban, deputy director of NOoSPHERE Arts, will lead the first part of the tour. Daniela will guide you in exploring the array of NOoSPHERE Arts' exhibition and performance spaces, from the expansive indoor artist studio Last Frontier NYC to the captivating rooftop stages atop a Broadway Stages soundstage.

The second aspect of the tour takes you through Kingsland Wildflowers at 520 Kingsland Avenue. It is home to an abundance of native plants and insects with a spectacular backdrop featuring breathtaking views of Manhattan. Moreover, these urban meadows are home to the Sculptural artwork of 2024 Broadway Stages' Arts Residency Award @ Kingsland Wildflower winner Seema Lisa Pandya. Her installation, “Resonant Nature,” has been on display throughout the season. This custom work of vertical sculptures embodies nature's vibration patterns, integrating bird perches and insect shelters into the rooftop ecosystem. It was designed using the Golden Ratio and Fibonacci Sequence and is made from sustainable Richlite material. Marni Majorelle, founder of Alive Structures and visionary behind Kingsland Wildflowers, will guide you in this part of the tour, giving you a unique and insightful perspective.
