Save the date! Newtown Creek Alliance (NCA) will be hosting their upcoming Spring Meeting, scheduled for Monday, April 17 at 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the health and well-being of Newtown Creek and the surrounding community, to get involved!

Meeting attendees can expect to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, public programming, and updates on various projects and issues around the creek. The NCA will also be sharing information about their ongoing efforts to reduce pollution and restore the ecosystem of Newtown Creek. The meeting will be held at Kingsland Wildflowers Green Roof & Community Engagement Center at 520 Kingsland Avenue in Greenpoint. NCA is the steward of programming at Kingsland Wildflowers, part of Broadway Stages’ green roof corridor that includes over 100,000 square feet of green rooftop infrastructure in Brooklyn.
