"FBI" and "FBI: Most Wanted" Returning September 20
Broadway Stages extremel proud of our longstanding relationship with Wolf Entertainment and its founder, prolific television producer Dick Wolf. This month, Wolf's popular "FBI" franchises will return to CBS, and we are excited to see all of the hard work by the cast and crew pay off. Both "FBI" and its spinoff "FBI: Most Wanted" are filmed at our facilities.
On Tuesday September 20 at 8 p.m., "FBI" will return with its fifth season premiere, despite its fourth season finale not airing. CBS pulled the episode in response to the tragic Uvalde, Texas shooting that occurred shortly before the finale was set to air in late May. The episode is also not available to watch on the show's official site. No word yet on when (or if) it will air.
At 9 p.m., "FBI: International" will air its season two premiere, followed at 10 p.m. by "FBI: Most Wanted," returning for its fourth season. The show centers on the FBI's Fugitive Task Force, a small team led by Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) to track and capture notorious fugitives on the Most Wanted List. This season, Edwin Hodge, who spent several seasons on NBC's "Chicago Fire," will join the team following the exit of Miguel Gomez, who played Special Agent Ivan Ortiz. Hodge will portray Ray Cannon, a former New Orleans cop turned junior detective who is following in his FBI agent father's footsteps. Entertainment Weekly has exclusive photos of scenes from the season premiere.
Tune-in to CBS on September 20 for three hours of drama when "FBI" and its spinoffs return.
"Law & Order" Franchises Returning With Three-Hour Crossover Event
As previously reported, on Thursday September 22 cast members from all three of Dick Wolf's current New York-set "Law & Order" series will come together for a very special premiere event. Broadway Stages is honored to be the studio production partner-of-choice for both "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Organized Crime."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will also return as part of the special crossover event, which serves as the collective season premiere for each series. The iconic original series will enter its 22nd season, while "SVU" will be starting its 24th. "Organized Crime," the most recent addition to the franchise, will be airing its third season. According to NBC, this event marks the first time all three series will intertwine.
In casting news, Anthony Anderson will not be returning to the original series as detective Kevin Bernard. Mehcad Brooks ("Supergirl") will take his place on the team as junior detective Jalen Shaw. "Organized Crime" will add Rick Gonzalez ("Arrow") and Brent Antonello ("Pam & Tommy") as new task force members, while Camilla Belle ("Carter") and Gus Halper ("Law & Order True Crime") will portray New York power couple Pearl Serrano and Teddy Silas.
The three-hour special titled "Gimme Shelter" begins at 8 p.m. on NBC on Thursday, September 22.
"The Good Fight" Adds Veteran TV Stars in Its Final Season
The upcoming sixth and final season of "The Good Fight" will include many new yet familiar faces. Phylicia Rashad, best known by television audiences for her eight seasons portraying Clair Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," will join in a recurring role when the show returns to Paramount+ on September 8. As previously reported, Emmy winner André Braugher will also join as a series regular. He is well-known for his starring roles on long-running shows "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." Also joining is John Slattery, best known for his seven seasons portraying Roger Sterling on "Mad Men."
Alan Cumming, who played political consultant Eli Gold on all seven seasons of "The Good Wife," will reprise his role as a guest star on several episodes. Also joining the cast in a recurring role will be Shahar Isaac ("The Chosen"), while Erich Bergen and Paul Scheer will appear as guest stars. Longtime cast members Delroy Lindo and Cush Jumbo will reportedly not return.
Our studios in Greenpoint Brooklyn have served as filming locations for every season of "The Good Fight" and its predecessor, CBS's "The Good Wife," which ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2016.
Executive produced by Robert and Michelle King, the drama series regularly tackles the headlines of the day as Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), Liz Lawrence (Audra McDonald), and their colleagues at Reddick & Associates try to make sense of the changing world around them.
Be sure to tune-in to Paramount+ on September 8 for the first episode of the final season of "The Good Fight." And be sure to follow our blog and sign up for our newsletter to stay informed of updates on all of the productions filmed at our facilities.
