NOIAW 42nd Annual Honors Luncheon | May 5, 2022
The National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) is hosting their 42nd annual luncheon on May 5, honoring three women in the entertainment industry, including our own Gina Argento, President and CEO of Broadway Stages.
NOIAW was founded in 1980 by a group of Italian American women who sought to create a national network to support the educational and professional aspirations of its members — to unite, celebrate, inspire, and empower Italian American women across the globe — to honor, promote and preserve the cultural legacy of their Italian heritage.
The annual luncheon was established to recognize Italian American women who embody the mission of NOIAW. In addition to Argento, the other honorees at this year’s luncheon are Patti Lupone (Tony, Oliver, and Grammy award winning actress and singer), and Angelina Fiordellisi (Founder and executive director of the Cherry Lane Theater). These accomplished women join a long list of distinguished NOIAW honorees, including NOIAW founding member, the late Hon. Geraldine A. Ferraro and so many more.
Please join us in recognizing Italian American women and this year’s honorees by purchasing a journal ad. You can also support NOIAW by making a donation to their “Next 40 Years Fund” or “Annual Appeal” program. Help us celebrate the Italian American culture and values that establish principled traditions in communities across the nation.
