InHabitat Features Broadway Stages’ Green Rooftop Infrastructure
Broadway Stages’ green rooftop infrastructure and commitment to environmental sustainability was recently featured in the publication Inhabitat® an online green design and lifestyle site that focuses on important developments in environmental policy and technology, as well as design projects that give equal weight to environmental and aesthetic considerations.
We are thrilled to be featured and welcome you to read the interview, entitled “Broadway Stages Give Film Soundstages a Green Upgrade.” As an early adopter and supporter of green roofs, Broadway Stages has invested in more than 100,000 square feet of green infrastructure including 50,000 square feet of solar arrays, and more than 50,000 square feet of wildflower and agricultural gardens. Our green rooftops also offer educational and volunteer opportunities, and serve to champion the coexistence of nature and the arts. We invite you to take a look at our green roof initiatives incuding Kingsland Wildflowers, Eagle Street Rooftop Farm, and Broadway Stages Green Corridor.
