“Billions” Gives Back to our Community
The film and television industry make a big contribution to the economic growth of our city. A study released in 2020 reports that NYC’s film and television industry created direct economic output of $64.1 billion in 2019. In addition to making a big contribution to the economic growth of our city, they also give locally to help those in need. One such production that has called Broadway Stages home since the series began in 2016, is “Billions,” a Possible Productions, Inc. political drama series. Now in its 7th season, the cast and crew of “Billions” and the local Possible Productions, Inc. team are actively engaged in community outreach.
In the fourth quarter of this year, they held three successful drives – eyeglasses in October, food in November, and they collected toys and coats this month. Their efforts go right back into our local community to help those who benefit from the kindness of neighbors who care. And they are actively making plans for other community outreach events in the New Year.
We are honored to be the production partner-of-choice for “Billions” and look forward to working with them and the team at Possible Productions, Inc. as they not only create new episodes for their 7th season, but also think of creative ways to help our local community.
