CBS Hit "Bull" Returning for Sixth Season on October 7

“Bull” is set to return with major changes both behind and in front of the camera. Showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron and original cast member Freddy Rodriguez will not return for season six. Rodriguez has played the title character’s former brother-in-law and in-house counsel Benny Colón since the series began in 2016. Writers Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard will take over as co-showrunners.

“Bull” stars Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull, the founder of Trial Analysis Corporation (TAC), a successful trial-consulting firm. When we last saw Bull at the end of season five, he found himself blackmailed into representing former District Attorney (DA) David Sherman in his corruption trial. This caused Benny, who was running to replace Sherman as DA, to angrily resign from TAC. Benny’s sister Izzy, who was also Bull’s ex-wife and current fiancée, called off their second wedding, and things looked bleak for Bull. However, in the end Benny decided to pull out of the race and return to TAC, and Izzy and Bull got remarried after all.

We have been working with the “Bull” team since the drama premiered in 2016, and we cannot wait to see how the series’ new showrunners will move the story forward following the cast changes. How will they write out Benny’s character? Tune in to CBS on October 7 to find out!
