Edy’s Grocer, pronounced Eddie’s, did an amazing thing during the pandemic, they actually celebrated their opening at non-other than the former location of the beloved Maria’s deli that served delicious Polish food to customers in Greenpoint for over 40 years. But that’s not all, they serve amazing Lebanese cuisine that will literally make your mouth water. Oh, this is going to be good folks.

This week’s Business Spotlight brings you Edouard Massih, proud owner of Edy’s, who found his success in the U.S. as a caterer, and private chef extraordinaire. Heck this guy has even competed on Food Network’s popular show Chopped. At Edy’s you will find delectable Lebanese dishes and a fantastic selection of Middle Eastern groceries. Just take a look at the photo gallery (your eyes do not deceive you) and read through the menu (you’ll have a hard time deciding what to eat first). From the Za’atar breakfast empanada, to garlicy labneh, kibbeh and mujadara, to a few Polish classics made popular by Maria. The food is amazing folks!

Edy’s is open for breakfast (check out the coffee window), lunch and dinner, Monday thru Friday from 7AM – 9P and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Of course, pandemic safety measures are in place; only three customers are allowed inside Edy's at any one time, and masks are required. But don’t let that deter you. Head on over to Edy’s at 136 Meserole Avenue and tell them that Broadway Stages sent you.
