Friday! Like most folks, when we wake-up at Broadway Stages we are excited about what the day and impending weekend will bring. But we are also anxiously anticipating our weekly staff lunch, and this week continues to impress. This week we tapped the Lobster Joint to deliver our Friday meal. Yes, you read that right… L O B S T E R!  This establishment, with two locations in Brooklyn, brings the best of New England comfort food to NYC.  In 2011 the Lobster Joint opened its doors in Greenpoint, and shortly thereafter, another Joint in Williamsburg. They work with local purveyors to serve the best lobster and seafood the Northeast has to offer, while supporting the fishing industry throughout the region. If you have time to visit either of their restaurants you will be welcomed with New England hospitality and a casual surf side experience.  We ordered our lunch from the Greenpoint restaurant located at 1073 Manhattan Ave. All we can tell you is that we are still licking our lips and fingers. It was delicious. We dined on New England lobster rolls, fried calamari, salad, and super sweet corn on the cobb. Thank you Lobster Joint for a wonderful start to the weekend.
