The North Brooklyn Angels is hosting the Neighbors Giving Thanks Project that will bring a happy and dignified Thanksgiving to our neighbors in Greenpoint and Williamsburg who are struggling during this unprecedented time of insecurity, loss and need. The ambitious project includes distribution of almost 1,500 frozen turkeys to local families in need, the preparation and distribution of over 1,000 delicious meals at regular Angel community outposts on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving.  And to top everything off, on Thanksgiving Day the Angels will be taking over the Brooklyn Expo Center to serve a socially-distanced, grab n’ go Thanksgiving Feast as well as personalized delivery of a warm and delicious meal to 100 homebound seniors. Now that is a Thanksgiving!
