Are You Excited for the Fall Season of TV? We Are!
It may still feel like summer in many parts of the country, but it is officially now fall! Which means that your favorite shows are returning this week, and your soon-to-be favorites are debuting. Here is a rundown of shows filmed at Broadway Stages' film studios that are airing over the next two weeks.
Monday, September 23: "Bull" returned to CBS for its fourth and final season last night. What will become of Trial Analysis Corporation (TAC)? Can Benny and Bull put the past behind them and reconcile their friendship? Find out by tuning in all season long! Finale’s are always a bit conroversial so lets see what the writers have in store for us.
Tuesday, September 24: "FBI" returns to CBS tonight for season two. Be sure to check in with Maggie, O.A., and the rest of the team as they investigate new crimes in their second season. Also returning tonight for a second season is "New Amsterdam" on NBC. Season one of the medical drama ended in a shocking cliffhanger, leaving fans frantically wondering which of their favorite characters will return for season two.
Tuesday, September 24: "New Amsterdam" returns to NBC tonight for its second season. In the first episode you see Max to find a new normal three months after the tragic acciddent and the birth of his daughter. We also see Kapoor dealing with the issues of aging, and Reynolds dealing with an unreliable new intern. It’s going to be quite a ride this season. Be sure to tune in.
Thursday, September 26 (NEW SHOW ALERT!): "Evil" is finally making its highly anticipated debut on CBS Thursday night. The pilot episode aired at San Diego Comic Con last month, and viewers indicated that it was genuinely scary. Friday, September 27: "Blue Bloods" returns to CBS for its 10th season this week! Not only is that an amazing achievement, but the season premiere also marks its 200th episode. In season nine Jamie and Eddie finally tied the knot, and we cannot wait to see what the newlyweds and their friends are up to. Congratulations to the cast and crew on 10 seasons and 200 episodes!
Sunday, September 29 (NEW SHOW ALERT!): On Sunday night be sure to watch the premiere of "Godfather of Harlem" on EPIX. The crime drama series tells the true story of crime boss Bumpy Johnson who took on the Italian mob in New York in the 1960s. Find out more by watching the trailer below.
Wednesday, October 2 (NEW SHOW ALERT!): Next week the drama "Almost Family," based on the Australian show "Sisters," debuts on Fox. "Almost Family" stars Brittany Snow as an only child whose life changes dramatically when she finds out that her father, a fertility doctor, used his own sperm to conceive as many as 100 children. Prepare by watching the trailer below.
Friday, October 4: Returning to NBC next Friday is "The Blacklist," ready to start season seven where season six left off. Fans were left with many questions, so be sure to watch NBC next week to get some answers.
Sunday, October 6: "Madam Secretary" will return to CBS next Sunday for its sixth and final season. How will Elizabeth McCord's campaign fare? Only one more week 'til we find out!
