Thanksgiving dinner was served up to over 125 neighbors in Bushwick compliments of Ujima Community Working Together, the 83rd NYPD Precinct, and the HighRollaz Club. On November 9th, the table was set with all the fixins including pies donated by Broadway Stages and lovingly prepared by the Brownsville Community Culinary Center. A special thank you to Anita Haines with Ujima Community Working Together, Deputy Inspector Dan Dooley, Commanding Officer of the 83rd NYPD Precinct, and members of the HighRollaz who co-hosted the Thanksgiving dinner event. Together these organizations are lending a hand, showing the way, giving thanks and building community fellowship. Broadway Stages is proud to be a part of the Bushwick community and to support these organizations and their acts of kindness and caring.
