On any given day, if you visit Eddie’s Plumbing Supplies and you might run into someone from Broadway Stages. The relationship between the two businesses goes back nearly 20 years, when, as Eddie’s owner Andrzej Sikorski recounts quite frankly, BWS’ Tony Argento first visited the store “because we were open on Saturdays when most places weren’t open.” Fortunately, what began as a convenience has grown into a long-standing relationship between the two businesses.

Eddie’s has deep roots in the Greenpoint community. Andrzej’s father Eddie Sikorski, a plumber from Poland, established the business in 1979. After continuing to work plumbing side jobs, he eventually left the plumbing trade to focus full-time on the plumbing supply business. Today, Andrzej runs the store along with wife Sharon. The store has a reputation for providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service to the community, meeting the plumbing supply needs of handymen, professional plumbers and film studios alike.

In December, Eddie’s will celebrate their 40th anniversary. We congratulate the Sikorski family and their staff on this remarkable achievement.
