Broadway Stages is happy to take part in today's historic event! A huge congratulations to The Greenpoint Monitor Museum for unveiling the USS Monitor Trail Marker today.

Built in Brooklyn during the Civil War, USS Monitor was the first ironclad warship commissioned by the Union Navy. It launched from Greenpoint in January 1862 and sank 11 months later.
